This matters because even if the FDA (the US drug regulator) approves a psychedelic medicine, doctors still can't prescribe it without the DEA agreeing to loosen restrictions. That agreement won't happen quickly.
DEA concurrence is required and won't come without airtight NDAs and diversion controls. I have to justify every step to devastated communities. The bar stays high.
